Introducing the Lumenier QAV-S Freestyle and Cinematic Quadcopter Frame. The QAV-S is the new addition to the QAV line and features functionality, simplicity, and ease to work.

After several months of work and research, Santiago Espindola "EspeedyFPV", Lumenier designer and FPV pilot, came up with an airframe that could serve his needs of constant traveling, freestyle, and workflow in the cinematic industry. As a result, Santiago created the QAV-S, which includes features like an easy HD camera swap, fast carbon fiber maintenance, convenient electronic stack accessibility, and an option for analog or HD digital system. All of these features, plus his attention to detail, made this frame the perfect platform for pilots who need a reliable and versatile rig for cinematic freestyle.

The QAV-S is a 5-inch freestyle and cinematic airframe that is ultra-durable, easy to work with, and locked-in to perform and provide the best flight feel. The QAV-S has many small details that were well-thought-out - including premium Lumenier carbon fiber with finished and chamfered edges in all the plates, 7075 colored aluminum standoffs to give the quad a sleek look, plus all hardware is included.

The QAV-S brings several new innovations to the table. The first innovation is the arm locking system which includes a hinge with a press nut that secures the arms and requires just one screw to swap the arm. This is a convenient feature when maintenance is needed. The second feature is a split bottom plate that gives enough room for a mini camera, while also reducing the rear deck space for components. Thirdly, it features is a split top plate that allows HD camera mounts to stay in place while work on the main stack is needed - without unscrewing the HD mount. Lastly, the QAV-S has isolated 20x20 and 30x30 stack mounting that lets you take care of your electronics stack without the need to alter the frame structure and overall build.
